Bio:I started practicing yoga because a friend invited me to a class. I’ve maintained a yoga practice because I have experienced the transformative impact of a simple daily practice on my life. I started teaching because I want to offer my community the opportunity to experience yoga in their lives. Professionally, I work in blindness and low vision rehabilitation. I’m passionate about supporting this community and anyone who wants to experience more calm and connection. Having grown up in Montana, but now living in Philadelphia with my family, I enjoy all that the natural world and urban environments have to offer. You will frequently find me hiking, reading too many books at one time, and hosting Spider-Man movie marathons with my family.
